The Forging & Machining Division is the core forte of MT Group since last 4 decades. Today, with 12 world class manufacturing facilities MT Group stands as a distinguished supplier among all the leading Automotive OEM’s in India. With more than 100 Forging Presses and Part Formers (Hot & Cold) and over 3500 machines, MT Group is executing all operations of this category in house. The scale of operation exceeds processing of > 60,000 Metric Tons of Steel per Annum duly Forged, Machined, Heat Treated and Surface Finished.

All our facilities are supported by in-house engineering center, well equipped and modern tool room with CAD/CAM/CAE infrastructure for 3D modeling, employing high-end CAM software, standard room, metallurgical lab and design & process facilities and added to these are our flawless inspection and testing facilities that further take manufacturing standards to levels of excellence.

We are exercising strict control on the whole process, from raw material, design, production and assembly. We passed the ISO/TS:16949 authentication in 2011 and Occupational Health & safety management system OHSAS 18001:2007 & Environmental management system ISO 14001:2004 in 2012 and also practicing TPM as main Business Excellence Tool.

The Press & Fabrication Division of MT Group was established in 2010, with a joint venture between Metalman Auto and Micro Turners. Metal Auto is one of the leading manufacturer of Press & Fabricated Auto Components in India and is serving to all established Automotive Giants. Today Metalman Micro Turners is engaged in manufacturing of Sheet metal and tubular Light Fabricated assemblies having facilities of all types of Surface Treatments such as ACED painting, Powder Coating, Spray Painting etc.

Our ultra modern weld shops are equipped with advanced welding setups to achieve optimum and strong welds as per the product specification. We have Advanced MIG welding ROBOTS, Welding SPMs, Argon & Co2 Gas Bank with Mixer, 75% weld Length are automated through Robots and SPMs.The entire facility is fitted with fume extraction & cooling systems.

Our main products include 2-Wheeler Assembled Chassis, Fabricated frames, Muffler Assy, 2-WHD Handle Assy, Chain Case Assy, Swing Arms, etc.

MT Group is coming up with its New Venture of manufacturing of specialized Seamless Tubes at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The project is under its commissioning in full swing with a green field area of 32 Acres and a starting annual capacity to produce 36,000 Metric Tons of Seamless Tubes ranging from outside diameter 17mm to 105mm initially.

These tubes will be mainly Cold finished and will be serving the Indian industries in various applications like Automotive Components, Bearing Races, Hydraulic Pipes, OCTG Products, Mining, Boilers, Heat Exchanges Etc.

The upcoming plant under commissioning is going to be one of the most ultra modern facility in India adhering to the highest Quality Standards with a scope to expand its Annual production capacity to 1,10,000 Metric Tons. Each Tube coming out of this fully automatic manufacturing plant will undergo continuous eddy current test and ultrasonic test to ensure completely defect free products for its customers.

We are continuously striving to build a better planet for our future generations and among our many other “Go Green” initiatives, the recent one is to Install & Commission a Solar Power Generation Unit at Ambala with 954 Solar Panels spreading across 50 Acres of land. This Solar Unit will Produce 9 MW of Power.

Solar energy is the largest renewable energy resource, and it is going to account for more than 60 percent of the power supply in future due to diminishing non-renewable sources. Therefore, this project is based on solar power generation which will always offer MT Group a broad scope to contribute towards preventing of environment which is our top priority.
